About Us
Sustainability

At Tropical Health Foods (Pvt) Ltd, sustainability is deeply embedded in everything we do. We source our organic fruits from a trusted network of registered farmers located across Sri Lanka’s diverse agro-climatic regions, including the wet, dry, and intermediate zones. This distribution ensures a consistent and year-round supply of tropical fruits such as pineapple, papaya, mango, rambutan, passion fruit, and jackfruit.
Our operations are built on strong partnerships with smallholder farmer groups and natural harvesting systems. At present, we work through seven organized producer groups, which include sub-units and forest reserve harvesting units. Each farmer receives continuous training in organic agricultural practices, internal organic standards, traceability, and sustainable cultivation techniques. These efforts are supported by our Internal Control System (ICS) team to ensure ongoing compliance and knowledge development.
Many of our partner farmers have practiced organic farming for generations, combining traditional expertise with modern methods to preserve soil health, maintain biodiversity, and protect natural ecosystems. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our outreach by introducing new smallholder projects, reinforcing our commitment to ethical sourcing and environmentally responsible agriculture.
